I build companies and systems that solve concrete problems.

Through Opery.AI I help companies put AI to work in the way they actually operate. Through Vakbuurt.nl I connect people in West-Brabant with local tradespeople. Alongside that I work for an international maritime technology company in the defence sector.

What I am working on.

Opery.AI

For companies

Opery builds AI systems that actually work. Not an advisory report that disappears into a drawer: a client sees what is being built before signing. We map the processes, systems, information and costs, then build the tools around them that deliver more control, less manual work or lower costs.

It is a fixed team with three clear roles, and the systems keep running after we leave.

Vakbuurt.nl

For homeowners and tradespeople

Vakbuurt helps people in West-Brabant find, compare and directly approach a local tradesperson. No intermediary reselling leads: the customer reaches the company itself.

For tradespeople and small firms it is a way to be found in their own region without becoming dependent on a platform that charges per enquiry.

Edorado Marine.

For Edorado, an international maritime technology company active in the defence sector, I run and develop the website through an AI-first way of working rather than through an outside agency. Changes are quicker to make and the site is considerably cheaper to keep running.

Alongside that I mapped the IT operation: licences, suppliers and recurring expenditure. That made visible what is actually being paid for, and where it was no longer needed.

Through Edorado I have attended international trade shows, among them Cannes and Düsseldorf.

My background is in brand strategy, positioning and marketing. Over time my work moved towards the technology underneath, because that turned out to be where the problems that actually mattered were sitting: systems that do not talk to each other, software nobody can still explain the invoice for, and work that is somehow still done by hand.

Now that AI has put building software within reach, I would rather solve those problems than advise on them. Opery.AI is the business side of that; Vakbuurt.nl the side that brings homeowners and tradespeople together. I originated and built both.
